As a result of the attack, Amirhossein Arbabi, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed after being struck by multiple bullets.

According to published reports, his wife was also injured in the attack and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Media outlets affiliated with the Iranian government have also claimed that Arbabi's child was inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting and was injured in the incident. These outlets described the attackers as "terrorist elements."

At the time of publication, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and the motive has not been independently verified. Security authorities have not yet released further details about the incident.
